Isopropyl Alcohol 99.9% (IPA) is a high-purity solvent used for cleaning and disinfecting a wide range of surfaces, electronics and equipment. It evaporates quickly and leaves no residue, making it ideal where a fast-drying, streak-free finish matters. Used neat for general cleaning and degreasing, or diluted to around 70% for surface disinfection — 100% alcohol actually evaporates too quickly to give bacteria and viruses enough contact time to be killed effectively.

Before you start

Highly flammable. Keep away from heat, sparks, open flames and hot surfaces — no smoking nearby.
Use in a well-ventilated area.
Not suitable for all plastics — test on an inconspicuous area first.
Store in a tightly sealed container, in a cool, dry place away from ignition sources.

How to use it

Use neat for degreasing and electronics; dilute for surface disinfection.

General cleaning & degreasing — neat

Apply directly with a cloth or swab, or use a spray bottle.
Wipe the surface. It will evaporate quickly, leaving no residue.

Surface disinfection — diluted

Dilute to around 70% — roughly 7 parts IPA to 3 parts water.
Apply to the surface with a spray bottle or cloth, ensuring it's thoroughly wetted.
Allow to air dry.
