Domestos Professional Original Bleach is a thick gel bleach that clings to surfaces for longer contact time, with anti-limescale action. Use neat for disinfection on toilets, drains and sinks, or diluted for general surface cleaning, cloth/sponge soaking, and bleaching whites.

Before you start

Wear gloves and eye protection.
Never mix with other chemicals, especially anything acidic — this releases dangerous chlorine gas.
Do not use neat on floors.
Ensure good ventilation when using.

How to use it

Use neat for disinfection in toilets and drains; dilute for general surface cleaning.

Toilets — neat

Apply ≈80ml under the rim.
Leave for 30 minutes to kill bacteria, fungi, viruses and spores.
For best ongoing protection against limescale and germs, use at least once a day.

Drains & sinks — neat

Drains: pour directly in to disinfect and eliminate odours.
Sinks: pour into the plughole and overflow, leave 5 minutes, then rinse thoroughly.

Floors & work surfaces — diluted

Dilute 180ml in 5L of water.
Apply with a mop or cloth. Do not use neat on floors.

Dishcloths & sponges — diluted

Dilute 90ml in half a bucket of water.
Soak the cloth or sponge in the solution.

Bleaching whites — diluted

Dilute 20ml in 5L of water.
Soak overnight, then rinse thoroughly after use.
