Brasso removes tarnish from brass, copper, chrome and stainless steel, restoring a bright shine. We stock it as a liquid or as pre-impregnated wadding — the liquid gives more control for larger or detailed items, while the wadding is quick and mess-free for smaller jobs. Both are mildly abrasive, so use sparingly and don't over-polish.

Before you start

Flammable liquid and vapour — keep away from heat, sparks and open flames.
Use in a well-ventilated area; avoid breathing in vapours or dust.
Wear gloves and eye protection.
Test on an inconspicuous area first.

How to use it

Ready to use — no dilution for either format.

Liquid

Apply a small amount to a soft cloth.
Rub onto the metal surface using firm, circular motions.
Leave to dry to a haze, then buff off with a clean, dry cloth to a shine.

Wadding

Remove a piece of wadding from the tin.
Polish the surface evenly, using firm pressure.
Buff off with a clean, dry cloth to a shine.
